THE GOOD WE DO
With any cancer diagnosis come feelings of hopelessness and social isolation. The mission of Cancer Support Community South Bay is to uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care. Since 1987, Cancer Support Community South Bay has served more than 28,000 families impacted by cancer through FREE support groups, healthy lifestyle classes, educational workshops, and counseling. With your gift in 2025, we plan to extend our outreach to support even more participants; providing over 200 free support programs each month and keeping our vulnerable community safely connected. As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of individuals, sponsors, and foundations to fund our programs, allowing us to offer all of our services completely free of charge.

FAQ’s
Who? This night is for women, celebrating women! While men are welcome to attend, the attendees have historically been all women.
Where? The Comedy & Magic Club
1018 Hermosa Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254
Why? Girls Night Out is more than just a night out—it’s a tribute to the women in our community who face cancer with strength and grace. It’s an evening of laughter, friendship, and connection, with all proceeds directly funding CSC South Bay’s free programs for cancer patients and their loved ones. Every ticket helps ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
What should I wear? We’re calling it “festive casual” attire. Dress for a fun night out, and if you like, you can rock your pink! Think pink sunglasses, pink dresses, pink hair—feel free to get creative. Nice jeans are welcome too.
Where do I park? Parking is very limited in Hermosa Beach. We highly recommend carpooling, Uber, Lyft, or drop-off. For those driving, there’s 12-hour parking along Valley Dr. by City Hall and 24-hour parking at the yellow meters in the center island of the road. Most other parking has a 3-hour limit.
Can I get involved beyond buying a ticket? Absolutely! You can make an even bigger impact by donating to support CSC South Bay’s programs, or by contributing items or experiences for our auctions. To donate auction items, please contact Pam Martis at pam@cscsouthbay.org. To make a direct gift in honor of a loved one, visit our donation page (click here).
Where do I get my tickets? No printed tickets are needed! Simply check in at the door—your name will be on our guest list. (You’ll also receive a confirmation email for your records when you purchase your tickets.)
Is my Girls Night Out ticket tax deductible? Yes! Cancer Support Community South Bay is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tax ID #95-4076131
